Our goal is to provide the highest quality of care and help you achieve your full potential. We use evidence-based principles that help every athlete strengthen their psychological well-being, enhance their performance, and promote long-term personal development that will last long after their athletic career is over.
Who We Are
-
We believe that the most important key to success is the relationships that are built between us. We focus on a person-centered approach, while utilizing concepts from CBT, ACT, and motivational interviewing. We meet the athlete where they are, and like to create goals collaboratively.
-
We believe that mental health should require as much focus as physical health. What makes people great is not how physically gifted they are, but how they can bounce back, handle challenges, and know when it is time to say “I need help.”
-
As former elite athletes, we understand the culture and pressure that comes with sports. We’ve learned firsthand the importance of prioritizing mental health outside of sports, and we don’t believe success should be measured solely by statistics, wins, or playing time.
Hi, I’m Tyler
Growing up, sports was everything. I have experience participating in soccer, baseball, football, basketball, swimming, volleyball, and IRONMANs. My main passion was golf. I was a four-year varsity golfer in high school, and competed in international qualifiers and championships. I understand what it is like to experience performance anxiety, increased pressure, and high expectations.
I graduated from the University of Dayton with a B.S. in Communication Management and will graduate with my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in December 2026. I am a member of the Association of Applied Sports Psychologists (AASP) pursuing a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) certification.
Mental Performance Consulting Services are currently provided under the mentorship of Dr. Brittany L. Collins, LPCC-S, CMPC, BC-TMH, NCC.
